how many members do you have in the guild? is your guild transfering from another game, or are you just a collection of friends forming up to start a guild in WAR? thanks for your time!

Hi there.

First, thanks for showing interest in us.

In all honesty, we are a new group of people. As GM, I personally know the other two founding members, but that is as far as it goes. Yesterday night was the first time we started playing together, and it worked very very well.

At the moment we have 13 members, but two of them are unable to play due to uncontrolable circumstances, though they will join us at a later date.

So to directly answer your questions:

- at least 11 active members (starting Thursday)
- we are a brand new guild, so there are no clicks, nothing that would make new comers feel awkward upon entering

Yes we have. When it comes to RvR we put all our efforts into a single target.

However, that's Guild info, evne though it would be obvious when you see us in game, but still. Guild member info. I'm sure you understand. Can't let Destro spies in on our thinking.

what are your long term goals in terms of guild size? do you intend to keep the guild small, or medium, or grow into a large guild?

Our size goal is for between 80-100. Not too big, but not so small that we aren't able to field three or four warbands that know how to kick ass. With these numbers, we believe all members would still be able to know one another, that we'd still be a close knit group. As I've said in other places here, we believe in excellence in doing one's class/job. Combined together, we want to be a great force on Ironfist that makes Destros go "Oh shit."

what MMO experiences do the leaders of LW have? have you run guilds in other MMO's?

My MMO History:

- 1994-2002: tons of Muds
- 2002-2003: EQ PS1 version (high ranking officer in a guild)
- 2003-2007: FF XI (high ranking officer in several Linkshells, a couple endgame)

Slice and Ilik, the other two founding members, have similar experience in same and different games (FF XI, Guild Wars, etc.)

I personally feel we already have a strong foundation of leadership, and with our Merit System of promotion, only those who really want and try hard will get to be Officers, although there will also be achievment Ranks for those who have been exceptional, but do not desire the leadership roles.

There is no nepetism here. Work hard and be rewarded.

I'm a member of LW and I also have experience in leading Linkshell's, Guilds, etc. I have led them in FFXI (Fellow Travelers 4 yrs.), WoW (Hunger 3 yrs.), Vanguard (Crackalacking 6 months) and many more.

I can vouch for Gild and the members whom I have met in both their ability to lead and manage difficult situations with the diplomacy you'd expect from top mature players. We are all peppered seasoned mature players.

All these linkshells or Guilds (call it what you will) have always ranged from 20 to 50 players.
