Hey there I got a reply from the WHA forums to come check this site out and so far its very inviting but you're looking on some feedback to what might be holding someone back from joining your ranks. Well for me whats holding me back is the information you put in the CoC section. It seems almost like you would be enlisting in the military...just too serious and I know you have to strive hard to accomplish your goals but at the same time you have to remember that some people want to logg in the game to just play the game for what it is. I support the whole guild ranking as far as your CoC but there seems like too much "reporting in for duty" and "here's my report on the battlefield" almost seems like it would be mandatory or you would get "Da boot". Oh yea and under the Penalties section "Failure to follow Chain of Command in battle- First offense will result in a 1-2 day suspension from inclusion in Guild Events. Continued failure will result in the One Warning. Failures continue after One Warning and you get Da Boot." Don't get me wrong I have no prob receiving instructions on what this battle entails and what my role would be but I don't want to have to worry about getting suspended or kicked from a guild because I was on the other end of the map for helping out random people in battle who were in need of help lets say in a Scenario when it was on the way to where the CoC person was telling me to go. In a guild everyone should have a voice even if there is a CoC no one should feel like they can't make a judgement call for themselves in the right situation. Just my 2million cents.

Thank you very much for that inciteful response.

By no means is the CoC meant to be as strict as you describe some may see it. Much of the Rules section was written before I or others were actually in the game, and therefore at the time had little understanding about certain flow aspects within the game itself. The whole purpose of the CoC is organization when it comes to Keep and Instance scenarios so that we can maximise success. I've already seen how a random group trying to take a Keep tends to fail because there is no unified voice. Everyone does whatever they want and inevitably there is failure. Perhaps some refinement is in order to take some edge off of CoC.

As well, the penalties were written up before we were in game. They were constructed on past experiences, and we basically want to show we desire a mature gaming environment. Before I was in the game, I thought the RvR would be inherently regimented, but now I know it is barely controled chaos (no pun intended). Our goals for RvR (keeps, open scenarios, Instances) are to direct our full force in a single Realm rather than spreading out with no direction. But that is for only RvR, not everything else. I personally believe in traveling to all the other realms constantly during none guild RvR events in order to do quests and PQs, because the wide variety of rewards is a benifit not a hinderence. I just want the guild to be a focused weapon when it comes to RvR.

As you can hopefully tell, we want to mainly be a casual guild during general hours, but several times a week hunker down, gather together, and fight with a solid purpose.

Again, your insight is the exact reason I opened this part of the forum. I had my suspicions, but I am looking at this from a different perspective than a potential recruit. I am grateful for yours and the rest of the feedback that has been provided so far. I will take the time today to seriously look at things and make some changes where I think they can be made.

Thanks again for the time you took to visit us.

Yes as Gil had stated all those were put into place before actually getting into the game. We are not really all that strict. If you feel like taking a night off. no big deal! If we are doing RVR and you want to take the night to do somthing else we are cool with that. As far as breaking commands...I feel it is more like if you are blatantly doing something that messes everyone on our faction up. If you happen to be helping someone else out cause we are split for some reason, we understand!

As Gil has stated we will edit as needed. We just want to create a fun, mature atmospehere. we dont want a lolomgdz i am 1337 atmosphere. or one so stuffy where one has to feel one has to be on all the time. Very Happy

Thanks for the quick and informative responses. It's nice to see a guild with good communication especially on the forums. Can I ask what type of server Legendary Warriors will be playing on? I am back in the mix of looking for a guild that would fit us(my wife and I) and my first or I should say my main concern would be what type of server which helps me decide what guilds to check out. Thanks again.
